Hickory Dickory Dock
The mouse ran up the clock
The clock struck two
The cat pursued
Hickory Dickory Dock
Ok, so that’s not exactly how the nursery rhyme goes, but it seems fitting in this case. And though this cat tower is mostly pine and not hickory, its rustic charm suits the cats just fine.
The decorative base houses a recess for a replaceable cardboard scratch pad (included), and the carpeted pendulum serves as a climbing post from the top down. Angled, carpeted steps make ascent quick and easy for your cat, with top perch where kitty can stand guard for any rodents during the night.
Clearly the clock’s weights were made of cheese, as three white mice hang from the brass chains where the weights used to be.
The clock face depicts a mouse at 6 o’clock and 9 o’clock, and there is a small peek-a-boo hole to monitor your cat as she jumps to the top perch.
The clock sides and front are open, and the front panels are hinged for wider access and easier vacuuming. In total, this piece measures 24″ wide by 17″ deep by 68″ tall.
And somehow, the product photo shoot always ends with a sleeping cat.
